Noted architect Herb Fritz, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright,
designed the original building. Originally a 47,000 square-foot
retreat center, the remodeled and renovated building now consists
of classrooms and laboratories for science, art, Spanish,
music, physical education, and an indoor swimming pool. Other
buildings are planned for the school's expansion to meet the
growing needs of the student body, including our new Middle
and Upper School facility which opened in August 2005.
MCDS holds options on land adjoining the current campus to
ensure the realization of our continued growth.
