Madison Country Day School serves students with average

- After a personal tour, pick up your admissions materials.
- For grades Pre-K through 4, complete the Application
for Admissions form and return it to the Admissions Office with
the non-refundable $150 application
fee.
- For grades 5 through 12, complete the Application
for Admissions form and
return it to the Admissions Office with the non-refundable
$100 application fee.
- Submit the appropriate Teacher Recommendation Form to be
completed by the applicant's current teacher, if applicable,
and mailed
directly to the Admissions Office. Click

- Come to the school for a parent meeting with the Director of Admissions and a classroom screening for your child.
- For grades K through 4, schedule an evaluation with our testing
consultant.
- For grades 5 through 12, register to take the Independent
School Entrance Examination (ISEE).
There is a $80 fee for this exam.
- After these steps are completed, we will contact you regarding your child's admission status.
Evaluation and Screening
After we have received your completed application and supporting
materials, we will contact you to arrange an appointment for your
child's evaluation. The application fee covers the cost of the
required evaluations of any students applying to grades K - 4. Applicants
for grades 5 - 12 are responsible for the cost of the ISEE exam registration.
Upon completion of the evaluations, we will offer an additional
time for
you and your child to visit our
school again. This will allow your child to get to know the school,
make new friends, and allow our teachers to observe your child in
various learning activities.
Admissions Policy
Admission is based on the following:
- a personal interview with the applicant and one or both parents or guardians;
- results of a student's evaluation or standardized entrance
exam;
- group observation for Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten and
a classroom visit for students in grades 1 - 12;
- in-house academic screening; and
- previous school records and teacher recommendations.
Madison Country Day School wants every student to be happy and
successful. Our admission process is designed to help each family
learn about the school, and to help the school learn about each
applicant.
