Bringing an MCDS Education into Reach through Need-Based Financial Aid Assistance
As parents, you want to find the right educational match for your child. Together we’ll partner to make a Madison Country Day School education a financial reality for qualified applicants. While all parents are responsible for making a financial commitment to the school community, need-based financial aid is available to assist families. Our financial aid program helps us enroll a well-qualified, diverse student body. A wide range of families, including those with multiple children, may qualify for financial aid. We encourage all families to apply.
Financial aid is available to students in Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade and is awarded on an annual basis. The school’s generous financial aid budget averages 15 percent of the yearly operating budget, and aid awards typically range from $500 to over $10,000. If you are interested in applying for financial aid, please access the online forms at the FAST website.
The MCDS admissions process is need-blind; your family’s financial aid application has no bearing on admissions. The school seeks funding from donors for the endowment of additional scholarships with the ultimate goal of supporting the entire demonstrated need of our student body.
Merit Scholarships Recognize Excellence and Character in Middle and High School Students
Middle and High School applicants can also apply for The Prairie Hawk Merit Scholarship. Merit scholarships are awarded to students demonstrating academic excellence, personal responsibility, independence, personal integrity, and citizenship. The scholarships, in conjunction with the school’s financial aid program, help students prepare for academics, careers, and life in an increasingly globalized future.
