Join us on Friday, February 3rd, at 6:30 p.m. for the MCDS Jazz Showcase. Celebrate the conclusion of the 2011 Fine Arts Week with swing and Jazz music along with complimentary dance lessons provided by co-sponsor Arthur Murray Dance Studio. The Showcase features The Jeff Peronto Jazz Orchestra along with performances by the MCDS Jazz Bands and The Lower School Jazz Jammers. Party snacks and beverages will be served throughout the evening. This event is free to the public but you can reserve a front row table of 8 for $125.00 and tables in all other rows for $100.00. Babysitting Information During Night of Jazz Showcase: As you may know, the MCDS Jazz Showcase will be taking place on Friday night, February 3rd , as an exciting conclusion to our Fine Arts Week celebration (January 30-Feb 3). New to the Jazz Showcase this year, we will be offering babysitting to families with children under 10 years of age (school age only). This service will be provided by 8th grade parents and students as part of a fundraising effort for their upcoming WashingtonD.C. trip. Hours of babysitting will be from 6:00p.m. until 8:30p.m. in the Lower School Pod, for a charge of $5.00 (per child). Please plan to feed your children prior to arriving as we will not be providing food.
