Starting on February 9th, the MCDS Ski and Snowboard Club will be traveling to CascadeMountain on four consecutive Thursdays to hit the slopes and participate in their preferred winter activity of skiing and/or snowboarding. Students of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the club and enjoy this experience.
For individuals who are beginners and would like to learn how to ski, the Cascade’s Learn a Lifetime Sport option is best for you. Introductory classes are offered along with equipment rental, lift tickets and transportation on four nights for $89. If you are someone who possesses the skills to enjoy skiing without additional classes, take advantage of the MCDS Ski and Snowboard Club at the intermediate level and receive a great discount on equipment rental and lift tickets when skiing on Thursdays with the club.
One of the best parts of being a member of the MCDS Ski and Snowboard Club is that we will provide transportation for all members through a bus service to and from MCDS and CascadeMountain on participating Thursdays. To make the bus service affordable, we are encouraging at least 26 individuals to join us and our chaperones for this wonderful experience.
Adults are more than welcome to join us as well, so feel free to come and hit the slopes for a great price while your children partake in the introductory classes.
Please take a look at the attached information as it has everything you need to know about the MCDS Ski and Snowboard Club and its options for you and your family.
If you have any further questions, feel free to contact myself or Christine Lidbury who is organizing these events. Christine’s contact information can be found through the attachment with all of the necessary information.
Deadline for sign-up is January 20th. You can turn in the attached paperwork and money to one of the drop off boxes at each MCDS reception desk before the January 20th deadline to participate in this very fun opportunity.
