Through the use of technology in the Middle School, students learn computer skills that support the curriculum they are studying.
Grades 5 though 8
Students use computers to support library research on
history topics, collect and extrapolate data for science
experiments, and write and edit papers for English class.
Students begin to learn the search techniques necessary to
navigate the University of Wisconsin System’s online
databases. Networked computers are available in the school,
and every computer has Internet access. All Internet use
is supervised, and all software is previewed and selected
by our technology coordinator with input from teachers.
