Hello parents! Spring greetings from the MCDS Music Department!
This is a reminder that the Middle and High School Instrumental and Voice
Recitals are scheduled to take place on Thursday April 12, in the MS/HS
Music room. We welcome your attendance!
The participants will include most MCDS MS/HS students who are currently
taking semi-private or private lessons with one of the music teachers
(Ms.Hamilton, Ms. Stansfield, Ms. Wolfman, Ms. Rzentkowski, Mr Schipper,
or Mr. Solie). The performance schedule will operate as follows:
5th Grade: 8:00AM
6th Grade 8:55AM
7th Grade 10:10AM
8th grade: 11:00PM
9th-12th grade: 12:35PM
In some cases, student recital times may be placed in a different time
slot to accommodate the recital of a sibling or facilitate the schedule of
other players or accompanist/s. If you are a parent of multiple children
attending MCDS and have a preferred performance time (based on the time
slots above), please respond as soon as possible to
rsolie@madisoncountryday.org and we will do our best to accommodate your
request.
All times in this regard will be finalized the week proceeding recitals,
so we appreciate the advance notice.
Note: All students will be required to wear their MCDS Formal Dress
Uniform for recitals. Also, recitals follow a week of spring break, so
students should have some nice preparation time leading up to these
performances!
