Madison Country Day School presents
Into the Woods Nov. 9 and 10 at 7 p.m.

“Be careful what you wish for” seems to be the ongoing theme in Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Brothers Grimm-inspired musical, Into the Woods. MCDS Theater Director James Wagoner and Music Director Kristin Warner are pleased to present the performances of the MCDS talented actors and vocalists to make this a truly stellar showcase of the talent in our community. The Madison Country Day School Theater Department exposes students to a broad cross-section of the theater arts with the aim of expanding students” creative imaginations and vocational arts horizons. We actively investigate the relationship between the process and the final product, questing for intellectual growth and self-discovery. Our curriculum focuses on creating and performing, making aesthetic judgments, and responding to the numerous connections between art and life.

This production is recommended for middle, high school, and adult audiences due to thematic content.
