Summer is fast approaching, and Madison Country Day School is proud to offer six packed weeks of full-day summer programming on our beautiful 45 acre campus. The entire program runs from June 16 to July 25 and features weekly themes focused on exploring the fields of nature, science, and art, and enriching the minds of students entering Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.
Each weekly session will feature a field trip, guest speakers, and a full slate of both outdoor and indoor activities relating to the week’s theme. In addition, families seeking academic enrichment have the option to register for one or more classes in the MCDS Jump Start Program, an opportunity for students to prepare for the fall in two core subjects, mathematics and Spanish, with 45-minute classes offered both before and after the day camp session.
Camp Director Jeff Stenroos, an enthusiastic Humanities teacher at MCDS, hopes to see as many families as possible join him this summer, “You can sign up for any of the sessions that you like, but we hope you sign up for all six. We have a lot of fun here at Summer Camp.”
Registration forms along with more information including pricing, details on the weekly topics, and information about the MCDS Jump Start Program can be found on the MCDS Summer Camp webpage. Any families with questions are welcome to contact Camp Director Stenroos at firstname.lastname@example.org, or Director of Admissions and Marketing Dana Asmuth at email@example.com.
