Madison Country Day was founded on two basic beliefs
about children and learning:
- every child possesses an extraordinary capacity to learn
- effort is generally more important than ability
The School community endeavors to develop independence, motivation,
and enthusiasm toward learning. The MCDS community believes that
a caring, stimulating, safe and orderly environment is necessary
for students to achieve. Parents, children, and teachers working
together best achieve this environment.
Parents are a critical component to success at MCDS. In addition
to their primary role of caring for their children, the volunteer
efforts of parents make the school a special place.
