The
school day for Middle and Upper School ends at 3:30 p.m. MCDS
students may participate in activities after the regular school
day. Activities are scheduled from 3:30 - 4:30 or 5:00.
Middle School student
life extends far beyond the classroom to include electives
during the school day, extracurricular experiences and learning.
And rather than limiting themselves to these extracurricular
activities, our students take part in worthwhile and meaningful
opportunities that support academic lessons. For example,
working on the yearbook fosters creativity and leadership
and reinforces writing skills. Additional electives that may
be taken during the school day include drama, math team, yearbook,
art, Japanese, and Latin.
