Learning at MCDS is not limited to the classroom.
Students can pursue their passion or step out of their comfort zone to try something new in a wide array of clubs and activities. These groups meet during school, after school, or before school during Wednesday morning SPARK time.
In high school, clubs are primarily student-run to encourage the development of leadership skills and teamwork. If an interest is not represented, students may start a club of their own with sufficient student interests and a faculty advisor. Time for these clubs and activities is purposely carved out of the daily schedule to encourage students to explore their interests. High school students also have the opportunity to lead younger student activities after school and on Wednesday mornings.
If you have an interest, you will be able to pursue it at MCDS!. Choose from student-, teacher-, and volunteer-led activities —or create your own:
