We're thrilled to announce our new Prairie Hawk athletics logo—a symbol of fierce determination, soaring aspirations, and our pursuit for excellence. This fresh look isn’t just a redesign; it’s a renewed commitment to growing our athletic program for student athletes, families and the entire MCDS community.
Why the Change?
Our athletics program has expanded in recent years; new teams, new programs, new energy focused on improvement and expansion. Our logo reflects this; providing a fresh and dynamic image that embodies our commitment to fairplay, academic rigor and athletic success.
What’s New?
The updated design features a bold hawk, capturing the energy and ambition of athletics at MCDS. This updated look will be proudly displayed on uniforms, athletics gear and in our athletic facilities. Proud Rocky, our humanlike hawk who dons the blue MCDS sweatshirt, will remain a treasured MCDS logo as it so perfectly captures the fun and outgoing spirit of MCDS.
How Will This Impact You?
Starting this spring, you will have the opportunity to purchase new athletics gear in the MCDS Athletics online store. Keep your eye out for the store link, as well as other spirit items on the MCDS School Spirit Store. We encourage everyone to embrace this change by sporting new merchandise, cheering from the stands, and sharing your Prairie Hawks pride on social media. We will phase in the new Prairie Hawks logo on team uniforms over the next few seasons and school years.
