The WSMA (Wisconsin School Music Association) Student Composition Project encourages and recognizes the efforts of Wisconsin’s student composers.  According to WSMA, “The Student Composition Project provides student composers the opportunity to receive feedback regarding the positive qualities of his/her piece as well as provide ways to improve as a composer in the future.” This year, four Madison Country Day School students were recognized for their work.  These students (with the exception of Emma Everitt taught by Peter Case) were taught by Jon Schipper—Madison Country Day School Music Department Chair.
